1:1 Nonfiction Book Coaching for
BIPOC high-achievers

Turn your ideas, experiences, and expertise into the book you can’t stop thinking about.

What does it take to write a book?

an idea
you’re
passionate
about

the
willingness
to
learn

knowing your
ideal reader
like the back
of your hand

a roadmap to
guide you from ideating
to drafting

making writing
a priority

a desire to genuinely express yourself + your ideas

You probably have some of these—what you need now is someone to guide you, help fill in the gaps, and get you to tap in to what’s already inside you.

(Enter: me)

You bring the ideas, I’ll bring the plan

My Clear, Confident Writer Framework is designed to help you get SUPER clear (shocking, I know) on why you’re writing this book, who it’s for, and how you’re going to make it real. And the confidence? Well that comes from YOU—putting in the work, showing up for yourself, and executing the plan.

Phase 1

Clarify

In Phase 1, we’ll nail your book’s foundation—from the broader point you’re making (and how to talk about it), to the full picture of your ideal reader, including what they need and how your book will help them get it. You’ll also learn about your publishing options and decide how you want to bring your book idea to life.

Phase 2

Plan

In Phase 2, it’s all about the content! What are you saying? How is it organized? How is it aiding your ideal reader’s transformation? And after answering all that, you’ll craft a detailed outline of everything your book needs (and nothing it doesn’t), and a super simple marketing plan. Cuz a book needs readers, right?

Phase 3

Execute

All of the hard work from Phases 1+2 leaves you in the best position to get writing! You’ll create your book proposal and/or start drafting your manuscript—it all depends on your publishing goals. Either way, I’ll be right alongside you to keep you on track and motivated until you finish. Your future readers are waiting!

~Let’s talk about book coach-ing~

From Idea to Drafting

You can start Phases 1+2 at a steady pace that gives you room to explore and discover what your book wants to be with 1:1 monthly coaching.

Or, if you’re eager to move through planning as quickly as possible so you can get to the writing part, you might want the 2-Day Intensive.

Each has the same result: Clear, confident you, with a plan for writing your book in hand.

And then? We write!

Emphasis on the and then.

Only *after* our foundational planning work can we move on to Phase 3: Execute.

We’ll continue our 1:1 book coaching on a monthly basis until your book proposal is complete or your manuscript is drafted—whichever you decide your goal is.

  • Sabrina’s coaching style offers both empowerment and accountability. She asks all the right questions to get you to think deeper and express more in your writing. She meets you where you are; as a novice writer, yet ‘expert’ in my field, she offered feedback that didn’t make me run and hide from embarrassment but gave me the drive to push myself outside of my comfort zone.

You know book coaching with me is for you if...

you’re not sure your book idea is good (but you hate asking for help)

you think you’re too busy to write a book (but you really want to)

you often think “I’m not a writer”
(but you dream of being one)

With my support, you can validate your book idea, find a writing rhythm that works with your schedule, and uncover your inner writer.

And you should know: These are totally normal thoughts to have, but they shouldn’t keep you from writing the book you know the world needs.

 FAQs

  • For the 2-day intensive, you’ll walk away with a “Blueprint” for your book. You’ll have all the foundational details like the title, your ideal reader avatar, the book’s organization, table of contents, and a full outline.

For monthly coaching, your “deliverables” are whatever you create in our time together. These will vary greatly depending on your goal. In addition to your “blueprint,” maybe it’ll be a full book proposal with a couple of sample chapters, ready to pitch. Or, you could have a full first draft of your manuscript! Totally up to you.

  • I only work with nonfiction projects (for now). Specifically, I love to coach personal development, self-help, spirituality, business, and memoir-ish books.

  • Nope! You are free to do whatever you think is best for you. If you want to DIY your book proposal or manuscript after setting the foundation with me, go for it! I will always advocate for what I think is best for you, and often that means moving into monthly coaching so as not to lose momentum. But I will never pressure you into continuing to work with me. One of my values is agency, so you are ultimately calling allll the shots. :)

  • Funny you should ask! Scroll just a tiny bit farther and you’ll see an offer just for you. ;)

  • Not right now. I will probably have an offer dedicated to revisions in the future, but for now, I’m focused on helping people who haven’t written a significant amount of their book yet—the ones who need help getting started and figuring out the next step(s).

  • While I primarily work with Brown, Black, and otherwise melanated folks, I am totally open to working with allies, too! What does an ally look like? You are actively anti-racist, you agree that white privilege exists, you understand that racism is systemic, you agree that Black Lives Matter (just to name a few things).

Not Ready to Commit?

I get it—it’s hard to go all in on something new. The good news is there’s a way for you to test it out.

Mini Coaching Session
60 minutes | $250

A Mini Coaching Sesh is the perfect introduction to nonfiction book coaching. You’ll get a taste of what it’s like to have a guide on your journey from book idea to completed book.

After booking, you’ll receive an in-depth questionnaire to help me understand where you need support. During a 60-minute video coaching call, we’ll discuss the issue you’re having—from getting clear on your book idea to drafting a specific section of your book proposal.

I’ll answer your most pressing questions and we can determine if continued book coaching support is for you! And even if it’s not, you’ll walk away with way more clarity AND an actionable plan of execution, so you can make tangible progress.

Is your manuscript done but not quite ready to publish?

I can help with that, too!

Manuscript Polish | Starting at $1500

After revising your manuscript multiple times, you’ll need a fresh pair of eyes to catch those typos, grammatical errors, and clunky sentences. I make sure your sentences flow smoother than your oat milk latte and your words are polished.

With my Manuscript Polish package, you can get a proofread only, a copyedit only, or a combination copyedit and proofread for your book.

This service is best for authors who are working with independent publishers or self-publishing.

We both know you’re ready to invest in yourself and your book, so let’s stop thinking about it, and finally do something to make it happen.
